NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. The grant is to expand the range of activities provided at Coldstream Community Centre which will help towards improving the health and wellbeing and quality of life for residents of Coldstream and its catchment. New kitchen and café equipment will improve the facility and increase capacity for income generation.
Our activities will be aimed at a cross section of the community but especially younger people who have very little currently available to them in Coldstream. All sectors of the community will benefit from the health gains, both physical and mental that exercise is proven to give. Increased wellbeing through exercise and through social interaction should lead to less strain on the NHS and hopefully a lifetime commitment to exercise and wellbeing.
