Young People
There are plenty of activities happening in and around the town to keep children and teenagers occupied. Apart from the obvious sports offers, they can make the most of the facilities at the Community Centre. Slightly further afield there is mini rugby, curling, horse riding and running clubs.

Junior Golf
Hirsel Golf Club is signed up to Clubgolf which aims to offer every school child in Scotland the chance to try golf. The Hirsel Club Professional Daniel Wood runs the Clubgolf program and holds regular clinics at the local primary schools as well as summer coaching programmes.

Coldstream Playgroups and Toddlers
A pre-nursery playgroup offering sessions three days a week at the Primary School. Plus an informal and friendly group for parents and toddlers.

Connect Berwickshire Youth Project
Connect’s aim is to provide a safe and happy environment that enhances the lives of children, young people and their families.
Connect offers 2 sessions a week to young people, plus volunteering, trips, sailing adventures, work experience opportunities and much more.

Coldstream Outdoor Play Park
Our play park has a unique design to Coldstream, reflecting the town’s history, geography and surrounding nature.
It has a wide variety of innovative, durable play equipment with bespoke features such as the Coldstream Guard inspired rockscape and eyecatching Bird’s Nest Tower centrepiece.
There are also multi-sensory textures, landscaped features and durable wet pour safety surfacing.
Location is just off the High Street in Home Park.

Junior Football
Coldstream has a very well organised junior football set up, which is fully accredited with the football authorities through its Quality Mark, Child Protection and qualified coaches.
We train on a Wednesday night from 6:00-7:00pm at Coldstream Primary School. We are happy to welcome anyone and would also be willing to send you on relevant training courses.
