We’ve been very busy at the Centre and will be again throughout December.First up is our Christmas Light Up event on Sunday 1st December. The event starts at 4pm with a parade along the High Street, then it’s back to the Centre for the Coldstream children to meet Santa. Refreshments including mulled wine, will be for sale and there will be activities for the children to keep them happy while they wait to visit Santa in his Grotto. Sunday 8th of December sees a Festive Afternoon Tea Dance with Dod Hutchinson providing the music, we will be serving our famous afternoon tea. Tickets for this event are £10 each, available at the Centre, The Old Post Office Flower Shop and Moffats the Newsagents.

Residents from the local care homes will be visiting the Tweed Hall to see the Christmas tree and decoration and have tea and cake.

Last weekend saw us host our first ever Winter Market, the place was packed with 36 stall holders and over 500 people attending. It  was well received by those who visited and looks likely to become an annual event. We also had our first Dementia Friendly film screening showing Paddington to a group from the care homes who also enjoyed a cup of tea afterwards.

Working from home difficult?

Finding it hard to work from home? Too many distractions? Not enough space? We can accommodate up to 6 workstations in the Leet Room, it is warm, quiet and there is WiFi throughout. Each desk will be socially distanced and we can offer screening around the desks for...
