Keith House Update 30th March 2018

The Scottish Land Fund/Big Lottery Fund has awarded the Trust a grant of £100.5k to conditionally purchase the property, pay for the legal fees, pay the first year’s property insurance and another £5k towards ongoing professional fees in a possible development phase. This would cover the purchase costs, and give the development phase a good start.
In terms of the development phase, the Fallago Environmental Fund has offered £8k and the Architectural Heritage Fund £24.2k. We are waiting on a decision on a much larger grant application to the Rural Housing Fund.
It should be emphasised that the project will not proceed without 100% grant funding and EGM approval of the community trust membership.
