The awards panel met on 21st May to award the following grants to local organisations:-

British Legion Social Club – £1,586 towards the cost of refurbishing the legion’s entrance hall
Coldstream Community Council – £450 towards the Coldstream Guards Freedom of the Burgh 50th anniversary and commemoration in August
Honour Our Troops – £500 towards purchasing another bench for the war memorial garden
Coldstream Twinning Association – £300 towards the New Year celebration of the Bennecourt visitors from France
Coldstream Riders’ Association – £1,500 towards their August civic week costs in terms of buggies, radios and health and safety
Total funding £4,336 which now reaches a total of grant funding since November 2015 of £26,551 involving 18 local organisations receiving funding.
